The love of his life is in a coma, and Jesse Greene feels it’s partly because of him. He’s devastated as he stands vigil by Bailey’s bedside, singing and talking to her for hours. He loves Bailey and isn’t sure he can go on without her, she’s his muse and he needs her by his side.
Once Bailey recovers the band resumes their tour. Jesse struggles with keeping his love for Bailey a secret; he wants his fans to know she’s the reason he writes his love songs. Jesse’s producer signs him to do a duet with a popular female singer, who thinks it’s a good idea for the media to believe they are lovers. Jesse struggles with the media fallout from that collaboration. But these troubles are nothing compared to the discovery that someone is after Jesse – and wants revenge.
